I have been searching around for federal grants or loans for new business. After finding the appropriate grant to fit my business, I contacted my bank (because I had to have matching funds for the grant). I was informed that no banks or any other financial institution is giving small business loans to a start up businesses! I couldn't believe it so I called a few more banks and was told the same thing. Call me nieve, but I thought that was what President Obama was giving stimulus money for startup businesses to banks for!
Good morning America! Guess that was silly of me to think I'd get help there. Now...on to reality for me.
