The wonderful world of grants.

I have been searching around for federal grants or loans for new business. After finding the appropriate grant to fit my business, I contacted my bank (because I had to have matching funds for the grant). I was informed that no banks or any other financial institution is giving small business loans to a start up businesses! I couldn't believe it so I called a few more banks and was told the same thing. Call me nieve, but I thought that was what President Obama was giving stimulus money for startup businesses to banks for!

Good morning America! Guess that was silly of me to think I'd get help there. Now...on to reality for me.

Work in progress

Well I guess as with anything, there is always a learning curve. We have gotten our wesites, three of them, all set up and running (for over a year so far) when we made a very serious decision. One of our main websites was not providing us the information we desired from our visitors. So, back to the drawing board. We had to completely delete the website and start over. It really wasn't as hard or tedious as I had first thought of this daunting task. It is taking several hours of work to do but well worth it in the end. This blog you are reading now is actually not even posted anywhere it can be easily found on the web at the time of this writing. We just happen to be on a short break in the action while we wait for the system to update our new content and instead of taking a nap I decided to post some thoughts here to the blog.
